Penn State York continued its tradition of the open microphone, an opportunity for graduates to speak for a moment, during commencement on Friday, May 9 in the campus’ Pullo Family Performing Arts Center (The Pullo Center). Sixty-five graduates, including associate, baccalaureate, and master’s candidates, were recognized during the ceremony. See the list of graduates.

Jeffrey L. Wigbels, ’76, senior vice president, Morgan Stanley, based in Atlanta, Ga., and a cancer survivor, was the commencement speaker. During his address, Wigbels shared his experiences and quotations that have helped him through difficult times and continue to inspire him today. View his bio and life’s quotes.

In addition to hearing from Wigbels, those in attendance heard from Keith E. WIckline, top associate degree graduate; Mary E. Lee, top baccalaureate degree graduate; and Amy L. Kilgore, representing the masters program.
