Penn State York

International Students

Welcome

Students attend Penn State York from around the world

Penn State York has a reputation for providing both a nurturing and challenging environment to its students.  Faculty work closely with students in small classes and often involve them in their research.  Staff provide both academic and social support through a variety of services, programs, and activities. We are as interested in your success as you are.  Since the York campus does not have housing, international students will need to make living arrangements in the community.  A housing list will be provided by the Student Affairs Office.

Are you an International Student?

International students are those who have earned high school diplomas or the equivalent by the time they enroll at Penn State. These applicants include high school graduates attending other regionally accredited colleges or universities who have attempted fewer than 18 semester hours, and individuals who have enrolled in other institutions before graduating from high school, regardless of the number of credits attempted. High school students who have attended Penn State on a nondegree basis are considered First-year applicants.

Morel information for international students can be found at our Undergraduate Admissions Web site.
