First Friday Series puts spotlight on studying abroad
Ever thought about studying abroad? Come and learn about the University’s global programs during a presentation on Friday, Jan. 11 by Penn State students who have spent semesters and summers in other countries. The program is at noon in the Community Room of the Joe and Rosie Ruhl Student Community Center.
You won’t want to miss this opportunity to hear about the steps to take if you are interested in traveling the world as part of your Penn State education. The program is part of the campus’ First Friday Series and is free and open to the public.
The goal of the First Friday Series is to introduce people to a variety of cultures and diversity issues. The series is sponsored by the Penn State York Diversity Committee. Please bring your lunch. Drinks and light snacks will be available.
