Arrive Alive Tour Distracted Driving Simulator

Using a high-tech simulator, participants experience the potential consequences of texting while driving, driving while drunk, and other aspects of distracted driving in a controlled environment.

Queering Penn State History

The month of October is designated as LGBT History Month. To celebrate, there will be an outstanding presentation that will take you through the early stages of LGBT issues and fight for equal rights at Penn State. The presentation is led by Doris Malkmus, Instruction and Outreach Archivist at the Special collections Library at University Park.

Liberty in North Korea (LiNK) Global Presentation
12:15 p.m. | Room 3, John J. Romano Administration Building

LiNK Global is the only full-time organization in North America devoted to the North Korean human rights and humanitarian crises. LiNK provides protection and aid to North Korean refugees hiding in China. They accomplish this through a modern-day underground railroad through Southeast Asia to rescue refuges and help them to reach freedom. A team of LiNK Global nomads will be on-campus to show a brief video presentation, answer any questions, and talk about LiNK's efforts and how you can get involved.
