Alternative Spring Break 2015
All week | Washington, D.C.

During spring break, the Penn State York Student Affairs office is offering students an opportunity to take a more alternative vacation in volunteering and working with young children in the Washington D.C. area. There are spots open to the first ten students that sign-up. The group would leave the morning of Sunday, March 8, and stay through the week and leave the morning of Saturday, March 14. It's $100 for students and it covers all the essentials: transportation there and back and throughout the week, lodging, and meals. We are working with an organization called Break a Difference and the Boys and Girls Club of Washington D.C. The site itself involves working with the Boys and Girls Club of D.C. and assisting in their after-school program. This opportunity should be a blast for all involved! Students can sign-up now in Student Affairs office and pay with either cash or check made out to Penn State York!
